PeakNet works with carriers, jurisdictions, homeowner associations and community development districts to find the best solutions to meet wireless network needs. Collocation on existing utility infrastructure helps reduce the proliferation of towers, can be less intrusive in a neighborhood, and helps preserve community character – all while offering the seamless wireless service that we have all come to rely on.

The newest generation of wireless technology, 5G, holds the promise of transforming the way we live and work – with smart cities, autonomous vehicles and immersive educational systems, not to mention dramatically quicker downloads and greater access to information. To build the dense networks needed for 5G networks, small cells on utility poles and in the public right of way will be a crucial component.

PeakNet is not the same company as Duke Energy Corporation's regulated utilities, including Duke Energy Carolinas, Duke Energy Florida, Duke Energy Kentucky, Duke Energy Indiana, Duke Energy Ohio and Duke Energy Progress ("Regulated Utilities").

PeakNet is not in any way sanctioned by the state utility commissions regulating the Regulated Utilities; Purchasers of products or services from PeakNet will receive no preference or special treatment from the Regulated Utilities; and a customer does not have to buy products or services from PeakNet in order to continue to receive the same safe and reliable electric or gas service from the Regulated Utilities.
